Egosi women of substance commended for donation of toilet facility
The Elegosi of Egosi in Oke-Ero Local Government Area
of Kwara State, Oba Daniel Adefila Dada, has commended
members of Egosi Women of Substance for the donation of
a toilet facility to the community.
He gave the commendation during the handing over of the
facility worth one million naira in a ceremony that attracted
traditional chiefs and other distinguished members of the
community. The monarch said members of the association
had, by the gesture, demonstrated their commitment to the
well-being of the people of the community.
The facility is composed of two female and two male toilet
units, and equipped with standard water system and
overhead tanks. The president of the association, Mrs
Folake Adetona, in her remark, said the gesture was part of
the associations corporate social responsibility towards
improving the living standard of the people .
She said the facility would curb open defecation occasioned
by lack of public toilets, adding that this would go a long
way in checking the outbreak of diseases. According to her,
following the large turnout of people during the
association's free healthcare service in the community,
members were inspired to donate generously to complete
the project.
"Members resolved not to relent in giving back to the
society after the successful execution of the free healthcare
service organised by our association a year ago. "We want
our people to enjoy sound health and one of the ways to
achieve this is to provide a standard toilet facility for public
use," she said.
The Chief Nursing Officer, Cottage Clinic, Iloffa, Mrs
Grace Afolayan, said public toilet was a critical aspect of
community development. Also commenting, the President
of Egosi Development Union (EDU), Ayinla Lawal,
described the gesture as worthy of emulation by other
groups and well meaning individuals.
He urged the people to make good use of the facility by
imbibing maintenance culture. The Odofin of Egosi
kingdom, Chief Sunday Adetona, in his goodwill message,
commended the association for being sensitive to the
yearnings of the people of the community.

WINK WINK! Have You Seen This Wearable Camera That Can Take Photos When You Blink? [LOOK]
Selfie lovers may heave a sigh of relief with the invention of the Blincam, a hands-free photography device that attaches to specs and takes pictures when you blink.
A team in Japan has developed sensors that allow the camera to differentiate between usual blinking and a purposeful wink, making photography more fun especially for those who wear glasses.
The wink rate could skyrocket soonest especially when more people discover this camera which is set to be launched in September.
It operates its shutter when it detects firm, intentional blinks of the eye with patent-pending sensor technology that can differentiate between natural eye-blinking and a concerted effort. With its built-in Bluetooth technology, any images captured by the device is uploaded to a paired phone.
The company hopes to release the Blincam on Amazon and other online retailers early next year.

BUHARItionary! 9 Vocabs That Have Become Popular In Nigerian Politics Since Buhari Became President [SEE]
look like a theatre with different stunts from political actors. Amid this worrying situation, new terms, languages have been coined out, that many Nigerians now see as deceitful, usual and interestingly crept into the nation's political dictionary.
Here is a look at some of these new terms:
1. Padding: Padding is the new vocab in Nigeria political space with the recent scandal by some members of the House of Representatives infused some figures into the 2016 Budget. Padding is to insert something into a document with the intention of comforting yourself or distorting information.
According to Lawal Gumau, member of the Transparency Group, he said they (lawmakers) are used to padding, as it has been around for a long time. This is causing heated controversy at the legislative chambers, especially with the sack of Hon. Jibrin Abdulmimin as Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation.
2. Inconclusive Elections: This is also a new term in the dictionary of Nigerian politics, over the spate of inconclusive elections under the watch of the Professor Mahmood Yakubu-led Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Some now cynically refer to the Electoral body as the “inconclusive” National Electoral Commission. Since October 21, 2016 when President Muhammadu Buhari named the new helmsmen for INEC, the electoral body has conducted elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, Rivers, Bayelsa, Imo states, which were declared inconclusive at the end.
3. Stomach Infrastructure: Stomach infrastructure, a new vocabulary quietly crept into our political dictionary in this dispensation. The vocabulary crept into Nigeria’s political lexicon after the Ekiti governorship election when voters were given gifts of bags of rice and other foodstuffs to vote in certain directions. Distributing foodstuff during campaigns in Nigeria did not start with the Ekiti election. It has been happening in many parts of the country but it was heightened during the Ekiti election. Politicians have started handing over to Nigerians, the dividends of democracy in cash. The naira is becoming worthless and ordinary citizens are parading dollar notes, courtesy of politicians.
4. Ghost Workers: Ghost-working service has been around for a long while in Nigerian states. It's one of the major setbacks in Nigerian Civil Service. In 2015, investigations revealed that the Federal Government and 10 other states lost over N538bn to thousands of ghost workers in the last five years. Of the amount, the Federal Government paid N220bn to 103,000 ghost workers between September 2013 and May 2015. Recently, some states also uncovered numerous ghost workers that constitute more than half of its workforce.
5. Technical Recession: This term got on the lips of Nigerians when Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun appeared before the Senate in July to allay the fears of Nigeria about the tough and troubled economy. According to Adeosun, 'Nigeria's economy is technically in recession, but, there is no need to panic because it will be short.'
6. Northernization/Lopsided Appointments: Northernization is not a new word in Nigerian politics. It became so popular in President Buhari's administration with some of his appointments tilting towards the Northern region of the country. It has generated heated debates and raised eyebrows on why the ex-commander choose to do so. President Buhari had during an interview with BBC Hausa on September 8th, 2015 said the Constitution allowed him full control over the choice of his closest officials. The president assured that he was not ignoring some regions of the society in his appointments, explaining that those he appointed were some of his most trusted associates. Responding to the interviewer’s question on the controversy generated by the appointments, Buhari said “This is the nature of Nigerian politics.”
7. Lopsided Anti Corruption Fight: This is also one of the newest terms in Nigerian politics. It generated from President Buhari's anti corruption war that has rounded up mostly members of the opposition party. Many believe Buhari is partisan on the anti corruption fight, leaving members of his own cabinet out.
8. Change: This seems to the most popular of the new terms in Nigerian politics today. It is hinged on what ushered in the current administration of president Buhari. Buhari came in to power with the CHANGE Mantra from the 'Transformation Agenda' of former President Goodluck Jonathan. President Buhari's CHANGE Mantra is to rid off the system of gross corruption, terrorism, militancy, unemployment and to also improve the economy. But reverse seems to be the case, as Nigerians now experience Change (in the opposite context).
9. Technical Defeat of Boko Haram: Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari has insisted that the Islamic terror group, Boko Haram has been technically defeated, despite recent attacks by the insurgents. While speaking to BBC on Friday, February 5, Buhari maintained that the terrorists had indeed been technically defeated. According to him, “Well, all I know is that out of the 14 Local Government Areas in Borno State where they (Boko Haram) used to hold and hoist their flag, they are nowhere in charge of any of them again. But they can still regroup and go after attacking soft targets.” When asked if it was fair to say a group which killed over 65 people in a single attack had been “technically defeated,” the Buhari said: “Well, that’s your own description of it. My own description is that they can no longer mobilise enough forces to attack police and army barracks and destroy aircraft like they used to do. They can no longer do that.” - NigerianBulletin

PROPHETIC FOCUS FOR AUGUST, 2016
I AM SET FOR ENCOUNTERS WITH POWER -
Psalm 63:1-3
From Glory to Glory greetings in Jesus'
name.
I believe by our encounter with the great
physician, the health of every winner has
been fully restored in the course of the
month of July and to God be all the glory.
However, because whatever the Lord does
shall be forever, every one of us shall
continue to experience a sickness-free life
from henceforth in the name of Jesus
Christ, amen.
But what is the Holy Ghost saying for the
month of August 2016?
As I have often said, "no divine agenda can
be delivered in the energy of the flesh."
We also understand that every divine
purpose can only be accomplished by the
operation of Spirit of the Lord’ – Zech. 4:1-6
Therefore, the prophetic four-quantum leap
order of testimonies ordained for this year,
both for us as a church and as individuals
will definitely require the engagement of the
ministry of the Holy Ghost for full delivery.
In the light of the above, we shall be
examining the person, mission and
operations of the Holy Spirit towards the full
delivery of the prophetic agenda for the
year.
Furthermore, we must recognize that:
▪ Encounters with power primarily requires
a crave for empowerment – Jn. 7:37-39/ Ps.
63:1-3
▪ The mission of the Holy Ghost among
others, is to empower believers to
command exploits
- Is. 45:1-3/ Is. 61:3-7
▪ But it is not enough to be filled with the
Holy Spirit; we must continue to be refilled,
so we can remain battle
ready – Acts 2:1-4/ Acts 4:30-33
▪ We must continue to crave for the new
wine and seek after the fresh oil for ever
growing impact
- Lk. 5:38-39/ Ps. 92:10-15
▪ However, a life style of prayer and fasting
is a requirement for continuous change of
levels in the school of
power - Lk. 11:13/ Ps. 63:1-3/Is. 44:3-4/
Matt. 6:6/17-18/ Matt. 17:21
Therefore, the prophetic focus for the
month of AUGUST 2016 is:
I AM SET FOR ENCOUNTERS WITH POWER -
Psalm 63:1-3
I strongly believe that every area of
concerns around our lives as individuals
shall be turned into testimonies by the
power of the Holy Ghost this month. It shall
indeed be a turnaround month for every
Winner in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Recommended books of the month
include:
→ Anointing for Breakthrough
→ Anointing for Exploits
→ Understanding the Anointing
→ The Release of Power
Remain ever blessed.

IS THERE NO BALM IN GILEAD?
Matthew 9:12-13. Jesus himself as the great physician. He has been revealing his prescriptions to us this month. Today we are looking at a prescription for our health and well being - joy and rejoicing.
Joy and rejoicing.
Every instruction of God is key to every desire of man. There is no short cut to the provisions of God. There is always a pattern in the word. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10.
What is in the joy of the Lord that heals?
1. Joy carries medicinal attributes.
Proverbs 17:22. 18:14. Joy naturally releases strength into the body. Sickness is always depicted by a sad countenance. You are healthy because you are happy. Joy injects life into our body.
2 Corinthians 5:4. Mortality or weaknesses is swallowed up as joy injects life into us when we keep rejoicing. Joy is one of the fruits of the spirit.
2. Joy carries the presence of God. Psalms 16:11. The presence of God is drawn by joy. Psalms 68:25. The movement of joy results in the movement of God. When you joy comes the Lord comes in his glory and the enemy departs.
God has said if you return to me l will return to you and the enemy will have to depart.
2. Isaiah 64:1. The arrival of God dissolves the mountains of depression. Jeremiah 32:27. What men call complexities are simplicities to God. When you look up to God you will see how small your challenges are. Your Liberty is sure.
If you refuse to give up the devil will give up.
The first thing the enemy attacks is your joy. Whatever is said to you that is a negative diagnosis is only an advert of the devil and not yours until you acknowledge and accept it. Don't confirm it with your emotions and countenance. Go rejoicing and be blessed. As you go on rejoicing you will go conquering. Joy is the trade mark of the conqueror. Your disposition must be one of joy.
3. Joy carries strength. Joy attracts divine presence for in his presence there is joy. Psalm 84:7.
4. Access to revelation. With joy you draw water out of the wells of salvation. Joy is the access to the waters of scriptures. Joy is your pathway to revelation. Come to the word with joy and you will receive revelation. Any man in revelation is a man in command. Your light will shine in darkness and darkness will not be able to overwhelm it.
How to receive Joy
1. Redemption. Psalm 51:11. Whenever a man encounters Christ there is encounter with real joy. This is not the same as happiness that comes from acquiring things which is limited. The only source of lasting joy is Christ.
2. Holy Ghost. Psalm 45:6-7. The anointing of gladness comes from the Holy Spirit
3. Revelation of the word. Jeremiah 15:16.
Your joy is a product of your light.

GOSH! Man Kills His 2 Sisters On Their Wedding Eve For The Sickest Reason Ever
A wedding eve which was supposed to be fun turned tragic for two brides after their brother murdered them in cold blood for the sickest reason ever.
The incident happened on Friday, July 29, 2016 in Pakistan’s central Punjab province.
Police revealed on Saturday, July 30, 2016 that Kosar and Gulzar Bibi, aged 22 and 28, were shot dead by 35-year-old brother Nasir Hussain as they prepared to marry men they had chosen themselves.
Senior police officer Mehar Riaz told AFP that Hussain objected to the love matches and had wanted the women to marry someone within the extended family.
“The brother shot dead both the sisters yesterday and fled the site,” the officer said, adding that a search was underway.
“It is a simple case of killing for honour,” he said. Father of the family Atta Mohammad told reporters that Hussain had “destroyed everything”.
“He ruined my family, he destroyed us, he destroyed everything” Mohammad said.
The murders came days after social media starlet Qandeel Baloch was strangled to death by her brother who said he was “not embarrassed” to have killed her, reigniting calls for action against the crime.
Hundreds of women are murdered by relatives in the conservative Muslim nation each year on the pretext of defending what is seen as family honour.
Pakistan’s law minister this month announced that bills aimed at tackling “honour killings” and boosting rape convictions would soon be voted on by parliament, after mounting pressure to tackle a pattern of crime that claims around 1,000 lives a year.
More annoying is the fact that the perpetrators of so-called honour killings in which the victim, normally a woman, is killed by a relative, often walk free because they can seek forgiveness for the crime from another family member.

Another Nationwide Strike? NLC Threatens To Down Tools If This Happen
The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has threatened to embark on strike if governors in various states divert the Budget Support Funds recently released by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Reports revealed that the bailout released by President Buhari last year was not judiciously used by the state governors as many of them refused to pay workers salaries from the bailout.
As at June 30th 2016, no fewer than 27 states of the federation owe workers salaries ranging from two to seven months.
The workers, who spoke with PUNCH through their leaders in the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress, threatened to embark on a strike if the recently released money was not used to pay their outstanding salaries.
In Imo state, the Chairman of the state chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees, Mr. Ambrose Onuoha, said that workers were experiencing hardship as could not afford good food, and were unable to afford health care services or buy drugs , among other responsibilities.
Onuoha confirmed that many workers had died since the salaries had stopped but refused to disclose the exact figure of the casualties.
Chairman Imo state council of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Austin Chilakpu, while speaking with Punch said; “Our stand now is that workers should be paid 100 per cent of their salary as at when due. The organised labour in the state is planning a showdown with the state government if it tries in any way to divert the fund, like it happened before.”
In Nasarawa state, NLC chairman, Abdullahi Adeka, said; “We are not concerned about whether the state government would execute any capital project or not. What we are asking the state government for is to pay us our salaries. We are demanding our annual increments and our promotions”
Benue state NLC Chairman, Godwin Anya, advised the state government to use the Budget Support Funds for the payment of the six months’ salaries it was owing civil servants.
Anya noted that only one month out of the six months salaries had been paid. He warned that the workers would not hesitate to protest if the balance was not paid.
He said, “Workers in the state have waited patiently for six months and would not hesitate to frown at any attempt to deny them what is due them.”
Labour leaders from Cross River, Plateau, Ekiti, Osun, Ogun Kwara also disclosed they that will not hesitate to embark on strike should their state governor refuse to pay outstanding salary arrears from the recent bailout fund.

Stephen Keshi’s Son Expresses Disappointment Over FG’s Unfulfilled Promises To Honor His Father
“I sat in front of the federal government on national
television a few weeks ago and they promised they would
honor pops the way he deserves.
They said that he has done too much for the country for
them not to. They made us change dates to fit the federal
governments schedule. But they didn’t do as promised, we
aren’t mad, nor sad, just disappointed, they should be
ashamed of themselves.
This sends a terrible message to our youth that are
striving to do great things for Nigeria. The good thing is
that We was raised not to ask for handouts.
There will be no more postponements, today the funeral
ceremonies began in Benin, the place he loved, where his
career started.
My sisters, brother and I held it down, with the help of a
few others, and now we are putting our pops to rest. We
don’t owe anyone shit and we can say they owe pops
everything.
No salt, it is not the people’s fault, we still love Nigeria as
pops did” he said

It’s Getting Crazy! Desperate Arsenal Fan Chases Down Wenger Begging Him To Sign Leicester City Midfielder
Ahead of the new English Premier League season, a desperate Arsenal fan was reported to have chased down Arsene Wenger begging him to sign Leicester City Midfielder, Riyad Mahrez.
Arsenal manage, Arsene Wenger is famous for being frugal in the transfer window but has been linked with a £37million move for last season’s Premier League layer of the season.
Leicester city have already lost midfielder, N’Golo Kante to Chelsea this summer and they will be desperate not to lose any more of their first-team stars.
The Gunners were also interested in England striker Jamie Vardy but he snubbed them and signed a new long-term deal at the King Power stadium.
Brilliant midfielder, Mahrez, scored 17 league goals as his side stunned the world to win last season’s title at crazy odds of 5000/1.
And he collected the PFA Player of the Year with the nation’s players recognising his contribution to the Hollywood blockbuster story.
Mahrez’s attacking prowess, small frame and versatility to be able to play anywhere in attack make the 25-year-old an archetypal Wenger signing.
But his hefty price tag might put off the famously thrifty Gunners boss who usually prefers to unearth cheaper talents.

LISTEN UP! These 5 Things Could Be Standing Between You and Your First Million
You could have been a millionaire already but certain things you do unknowingly could be limiting you.
We found them out! Yes we did.
The rate at which technology improves daily has made the quest even easier.
Lack of real awareness and consistent study of the right information, mixed with inconsistent execution and implementation limits most people from hitting their first six figures.
Below are 5 mistakes you are probably making that is standing between you and your first one million according to Entrepreneur:
1.MOST FOCUS ON PERFECTION NOT EXPERIMENTS.
Seeking perfection has lost me more than $100,000 the last couple years. By the time a millionaire has tried and tested eight different experiments without focusing on perfection, most people haven’t even gone to market yet. Maybe only two of their experiments worked and were deemed profitable. The point is they weren’t paralyzed by perfection, but were driven by testing.
Test all your crazy ideas. No matter how crazy they sound, try them out. Find out which ones work, then optimize how effective they are. Test all variations of that idea. Find out which variation works best. Ideas are nothing until executed and proven.
2. FEW THOROUGHLY THINK THINGS THROUGH.
“The more you sweat in peace the less you bleed in war”
One of the biggest missed opportunities for entrepreneurs is not preparing for, or pre-determining what, they want. Truly productive people know the result they are after and maintain acute clarity on it. Armed with this awareness, they reverse engineer this big goal into a series of small and actionable steps that they then put into a one or two page plan of execution. Strategically thinking through your future will prevent mistakes, while increasing your ability to predict. When you’re intentional in all you do, you mitigate against risk and can make more educated decisions.
Plan your long-term strategies before you plan your tactics. Strategy shows where you plan on going, who you want to be and what types of clients you want to attract. Tactics show how to get all of your strategy accomplished. You don't have a real strategy if it doesn't pass these two tests: that what you're planning to do really matters to your existing and potential customers; and second, it differentiates you from your competition.
3. MOST NEVER LEARN INTELLIGENT DELEGATION.
Getting others to do something as well or better than yourself is one of the hardest aspects of leadership, but necessary if you're going to grow the business past the six-figure mark. Before you strategically delegate and build a team you must understand who you are, and what’s most important to you. Once you determine your most important values, put them into writing and operationalize them into company standards. Consistently systemize and internalize those values.
Your team must be value based. If somebody can do something 80 percent as well as you, they should be doing it. When you delegate a task, make sure the person you’ve hired has clear and defined roles. Most entrepreneurs hire very fast, but fire very slow. It should be the opposite. Hire slow, fire fast.
4. MOST ARE MAKING THE WRONG TRADES.
Millionaires realize they will never become wealthy trading time for money. It’s OK for awhile when you start, but at some point you have to focus on scaling and leverage. You're fighting an uphill battle if you’re trying to make seven figures trading time for money. You won’t get to seven figures only doing more of made you six figures.
Focus on the power of leverage and how to create consistent income without trading time for money. There are many possibilities -- investment properties, membership sites, angel investing, building an online empire, partnerships, affiliate marketing, different types of programs, etc. Take some time to really analyze if you're maximizing your time. If you are trading time for money, make 100 percent sure it's an intelligent trade. If you want to make more money, become more valuable. It's as simple as that. Entrepreneurs who understand the power of leveraging and scaling their businesses become millionaires by bringing more value to the marketplace than their competitors.
5. MOST ARE EGO FOCUSED INSTEAD OF CUSTOMER CENTRIC
“How do we decide what’s really important to work on? I like to call it the ‘toothbrush test’: do our customers use it as often as you use your toothbrush? I guess that’s twice a day. We use Gmail and YouTube much more than twice a day. Those things are amazing.”
— Larry Page, CEO Google
People care about what your business can do for them. Most entrepreneurs try to sell their experience and expertise. They believe that people want to pay them for what they know, but people don’t. They want to buy a solution or outcome to their problems and desires. They want results. They want to solve their problem and reduce whatever suffering they are going through. They don’t care about you.
Do you really understand at a deep level what your customers want? Those at the seven-figure mark have a monomaniacal focus on this. You must realize that the likelihood of the marketplace responding because you want something is non-existant. It's about them, not you. Your customers are marketing geniuses, so make sure you do your due diligence. Find ways to survey them, or talk to them about their needs, wants, desires, passions, concerns etc. Customers want a fun and personal journey through all points of engagement. Do you deliever?
I’ve had several opportunities to get inside the minds of the richest people on the planet. There are timeless lessons we can learn from. A simple statement, quote or perspective shift can change the game for you. Become aware of what’s holding you back from elevating your business to the next level. Adjust your thinking, actions and strategy in accordance to your new vision.
Lastly, execute flawlessly on tactics above and make sure you’re in it for the long haul. I’m confident that by doing these things you’ll soon see your prospects for a seven-figure business become clearer than they ever have.
